The Music Tour is a week long camp/excursion that sees students travelling around various states of Australia including Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Captial Territory performing their VCE Music Performance and Investigation Programs for various Primary Schools and communitites that dont get the opportunity to experience live music on a regular basis. The show is completely run by the students, contemporary ensembles, soloists and bands performing their recital programs,  VET Technical Production crew setting up and running the sound and staging for the performance and a Media crew capturing the experience in film and footage. It is truely an amazing experience that the students treasure.


The tour has been running since 2007 and has performed in such places as Broken Hill, Menindee, Mildura, Swan Hill, Parkes, Canberra, Hay, Quambatook, Charlton, Renmark, Mount Gambier, Echuca, Bendigo, Elphingstone, Davonpot, Hobart, Bicheno, Launceston, the list goes on and on.

Our Tour Rock-U-Mentary

In 2017 we took Nick of Black Keys Productions on tour with us to record a Rock_U-Mentary of the Music Tour. He has spent hours and hours  reviewing, editing and clipping scenes together to create a fantastic summary and example of what it is like on the Music Tour. The Tour Song....

Inspired by the world famous Contiki tours, the Sandringham College Music Tour is allocated a tour song that represents the fun and excitiement from the tour experience. This is designed to give students a reminder of the fun and excitment from their tours after they leave school.
